Job Description

Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse – Ironwood, MI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay Up to $3,000 (Based on Experience)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 10-Hour Days | On-Call Required 1–2x/Week

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a highly experienced Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse for a hospital partner in Ironwood, Michigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled OR RN to step into a dynamic surgical team while enjoying the natural beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Job Description:

  • Provide perioperative care including pre-op, intra-op (circulating), and post-op responsibilities

  • Assist surgical teams during procedures by managing instruments, monitoring patients, and maintaining sterile fields

  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical techs to deliver high-quality patient care

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations in the OR setting

  • Take on-call shifts 1–2 times per week and occasional weekend/holiday call

  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Michigan RN License – required

  • BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) – required

  • ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC) – required

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience – required

  • Strong circulating experience – required

  • Pre-op and Post-op experience – required

  • PACU experience – preferred

  • Prior travel nursing experience – preferred
