This is an exciting 13-week contract opportunity with a competitive weekly compensation package.
Job Description: As a Local Travel Occupational Therapist in Minot, ND, you will provide direct therapy services to patients to help them achieve functional independence in their daily activities. The role includes evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient goals. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care for patients while documenting progress and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ functional abilities and impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies for improving daily living.
- Monitor and document patient progress in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist patients in setting goals and measure progress towards achieving them.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license in the state of North Dakota.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
