Travel/Contract Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Winston-Salem, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,400 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a specialized recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. Join a dynamic healthcare team and provide high-quality, patient-centered oncology care in a supportive and well-respected facility.
Job Description – Oncology RN Responsibilities

Deliver specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and other cancer treatments

Monitor patients for side effects and complications, providing timely interventions
-
Administer chemotherapy and other medications safely and in accordance with protocols
-
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens, symptom management, and emotional support resources
-
Collaborate with oncologists, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members
-
Maintain detailed, accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and oncology safety standards
Licensure & Certifications Required
-
Active RN License – North Carolina or Compact State
-
BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
-
ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
-
NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (Resource Team requirement)
-
Chemo Certification – Required (ONS preferred)
Education Requirements
-
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology experience strongly preferred
