Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse – Pittsfield, MA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay Up to $3,180 (Based on Experience)
Shift: 12-Hour Days | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Call Required
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for an exciting opportunity in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is your chance to work with a highly reputable facility while exploring the scenic charm of the Berkshires.
Job Description:

Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
-
Prepare and assess patients pre-operatively and provide post-anesthesia care
-
Assist surgical team by managing instrumentation, medications, and sterile techniques
-
Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative emergencies
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout surgical procedures
-
Act as a mentor and preceptor to less experienced OR staff when needed
-
Participate in scheduled on-call rotations for emergency surgical cases
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact state)
-
BLS Certification (American Heart Association – required)
-
ACLS Certification (preferred)
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum of 5 years of current Operating Room nursing experience (required)
-
Minimum of 3 months prior travel RN experience required; 1 year preferred
-
Must be comfortable precepting other OR staff
-
Must be able and willing to take on-call assignments
