Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
- Certifications Requirements: AHA BLS, AHA PALS, Wisconsin or Compact RN license
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1+ years of recent PICU experience, including trach and vent management
- Other Requirements: Ability to float to all inpatient units including critical care, NICU, and Acute Care; proficiency with EPIC charting; excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to PICU patients, including those requiring trach and vent management.
- Monitor patient status continuously, utilizing equipment such as oscillators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, and CRRT.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress and care interventions accurately in EPIC or other electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including potential code situations, with appropriate training and efficiency.
