Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
- Certifications Requirements: WI or compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, (preferred ACLS & TNCC)
- Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of previous Emergency Department experience, pediatric care experience required, Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Other Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, flexibility to float to different units, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric emergency care assessment, medication administration, and wound care to patients in a fast-paced level 1 trauma ED.
- Monitor and obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, and assist with mental and behavioral health needs of pediatric patients.
- Ensure proper documentation in Epic or preferred EMR system, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including ED techs and care partners to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Float to various units as needed, maintaining flexibility and upholding high standards of safety and infection control.
