Local Travel PICU Registered Nurse – Charlotte, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Options: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,100 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse for a local travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced PICU environment within a nationally recognized children’s hospital.
Position Overview:
This assignment is ideal for a skilled and confident PICU RN looking to make an impact while working alongside a collaborative pediatric care team. While no call is required, travelers may float to PCVICU, Peds Progressive, NICU, or general Peds units based on facility needs.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide critical care to pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting

Perform continuous assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of patient conditions
-
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
-
Utilize life support equipment and respond to emergencies effectively
-
Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
Requirements:
-
Active North Carolina RN license or Compact State RN license
-
AHA BLS and PALS Certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent, high-acuity Pediatric ICU experience
-
Must be comfortable floating to related pediatric units as needed

Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a rotating 6-week schedule
