Job Description: As a Local Travel Pediatric Occupational Therapist in Minot, ND, you will provide therapeutic services to children to improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. You will assess and treat children with physical, emotional, or developmental disabilities, creating individualized treatment plans and collaborating with family members and the multidisciplinary team to enhance each child’s functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate pediatric patients’ physical, developmental, and emotional needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address each child’s goals and challenges.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for the child.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to families on therapy techniques and strategies for at-home interventions.
- Maintain a high standard of care and adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license in the state of North Dakota.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous pediatric experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
