Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist – Nights - Springfield, VT
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Guaranteed Hours)

Position Overview:
The Pediatric Respiratory Therapist will deliver expert care to pediatric patients with respiratory illnesses, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:

Assess, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing disorders

Administer inhalants, oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments
-
Monitor and record patients’ responses to therapy
-
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to create individualized patient care plans

Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and management

Maintain and operate respiratory therapy equipment
-
Ensure compliance with all hospital and healthcare regulations
Education and Certification Requirements:

Associate's Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
-
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
-
Current Respiratory Therapy License in the State of Vermont (or eligible for licensure)
-
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
-
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred

Minimum of 1-2 years of recent pediatric respiratory therapy experience preferred
