Local Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - Stone Mountain, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,190 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week local travel contract at a reputable healthcare facility in Stone Mountain, Georgia. If you’re passionate about helping patients regain mobility and live healthier lives, this is a fantastic opportunity to do meaningful work while staying close to home.

Job Description:

  • Evaluate and assess patients to develop customized physical therapy treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic exercises, hands-on treatment, and patient education

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

  • Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Document all treatments and patient responses accurately in EMR systems

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility-specific guidelines

  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment for rehabilitation and healing

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program

  • Current Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)

  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association

  • Previous experience in outpatient, acute, or skilled nursing settings preferred
