Position Overview:
The Physical Therapist will provide expert rehabilitative care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs

Utilize exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities to promote recovery

Educate patients and families on therapy programs, injury prevention, and health maintenance

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress

Uphold all facility and professional standards for safety and quality of care
Education and Certification Requirements:

Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate) from an accredited program

Current Physical Therapist License in Missouri or eligibility for licensure

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
-
Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred
