13-Week Contract | Up to $2,700 Weekly (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Local Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join our client’s dynamic team in beautiful Rancho Mirage, California. This is an exciting opportunity to provide top-quality rehabilitative care while enjoying one of the most scenic and vibrant destinations in the country.
Position Overview
As a Local Travel PT, you will work with a collaborative therapy team to evaluate, plan, and implement customized physical therapy programs designed to restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain in a variety of patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy treatments for patients of varying ages and conditions
- Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Follow department protocols, safety standards, and best practices
Education & Certification Requirements
- Required: Active California Physical Therapist License
- Highly Desired: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy
- Required Certifications:
- Successful completion of accredited PT curriculum and internship
- AHA BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic physical therapy techniques and modalities
- Strong college-level writing and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to administer all departmental programs and protocols for diverse age groups
- Effective interpersonal skills for engaging with patients, families, and team members
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Flexible shifts based on facility needs
- Compensation: Up to $2,700 per week (based on experience)
- Location: Palm Springs, CA
