Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Rancho Mirage, California to hire a Local Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an exciting short-term opportunity.
This position is ideal for Physical Therapists seeking competitive compensation while working in a highly desirable Southern California location.
Position Overview
- Job Title: Local Travel Physical Therapist (PT)
- Location: Rancho Mirage, CA
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,700 per week, based on experience
Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, strength, and functional ability
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on exercises, recovery strategies, and injury prevention
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher level degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred Education
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
Required Certifications and Licensure
- Active California Physical Therapist License
- BLS Certification
Preferred Experience
- Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience
