Job Description:
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you’ll help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and work in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve movement, strength, and coordination
- Educate patients and their families about exercises and recovery strategies
- Maintain detailed patient documentation and progress reports
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other care professionals
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Georgia Physical Therapist (PT) license or eligibility for licensure
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Previous clinical or travel experience preferred, but not required
