This opportunity is perfect for both new graduates and first-time travelers who are eager to grow their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Position Summary:
The Travel Physical Therapist will provide individualized treatment programs to patients with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to optimal physical function through personalized care and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients’ physical therapy needs, functional capabilities, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to restore function and mobility.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and preventive care techniques.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional outpatient environment.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Oregon Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Outpatient Orthopedic experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply!
- First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passionate about improving patients’ quality of life through rehabilitative care.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Contract Details:
- 13-week travel contract
- General Outpatient Orthopedic patient population
- No floating to other clinics
- Competitive weekly pay up to $2,250, based on experience
