Position Overview:
Connected Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Local Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Fargo, ND. You will be providing high-quality physical therapy services to help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical conditions. Your role will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the physical condition and needs of each patient
- Developing personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall function
- Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to treat physical conditions
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and wellness practices
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensuring that all treatments and interventions meet professional standards and patient goals
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of North Dakota
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- A compassionate approach to patient care, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes
