Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Centre, AL
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $1,680 DOE

Job Description:

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patient mobility and strength

  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising physical therapist

  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient rehabilitation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Current state licensure in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

  • BLS certification required

  • Prior experience in outpatient or inpatient rehab settings preferred

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
