Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Days - Tuscaloosa, AL
13-Week Contract | Weekly Compensation Up to $1,680

Job Description

  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries

  • Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, strength, and overall function

  • Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to enhance recovery

  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed

  • Ensure compliance with therapy protocols and patient safety guidelines

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active Alabama PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • BLS certification required

  • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience in a clinical setting

  • Strong communication and patient-care skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
