Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant – Coos Bay, OR
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: Up to $1,740 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a local travel assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. Job Description
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover mobility and improve their quality of life. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with implementing physical therapy treatment plans

  • Instructing patients in exercises and mobility-enhancing activities

  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress and treatment effectiveness

  • Educating patients and families on therapeutic techniques for at-home use

  • Supporting safety and wellness within the rehab department

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Active Oregon PTA license

  • Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and patient care skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic rehab team
