Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or related field
  • Certifications Requirements: PTA license, CPR certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work dayshift from 8 am to 5 pm, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and professional demeanor

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services to diverse patient populations, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans.
  • Assess patient conditions, establish treatment goals, and modify therapy programs based on progress and therapist judgment.
  • Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate with supervising physical therapists and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements throughout the assignment.
