Job Description
- Assist physical therapists in providing therapy services
- Implement patient care plans and therapeutic exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
Education and Certification Requirements
- Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
- Current PTA license in the state of Wisconsin
- CPR and First Aid certification
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PTA (preferred)
- Experience in Rehab setting preferred
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
