Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Near Rapid City, SD
13-Week Contract | Up to $1,650/Week (DOE)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a local travel assignment near Rapid City, South Dakota. This 13-week opportunity is perfect for a passionate PTA looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment while enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the Black Hills region.

Job Description:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient care plans

  • Help patients perform specific exercises and mobility activities

  • Monitor and report patients’ progress to the supervising PT

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions

  • Educate patients and their families about at-home exercises and recovery goals

  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Current South Dakota PTA license (or ability to obtain before start date)

  • CPR/BLS certification required

  • Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
