Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Days - Spearfish, SD
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Compensation: Up to $1,650 per week (based on experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Spearfish, SD. This opportunity is ideal for PTAs looking to gain valuable experience in a travel-friendly position while enjoying the stunning beauty of South Dakota’s Black Hills region.

Job Description:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients

• Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and mobility training

• Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and at-home exercises

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

• Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal therapy regulations

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program

• Active PTA license in South Dakota (or eligibility for licensure)

• CPR/BLS certification required

• Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required
