Travel Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse - High Point, NC
Compensation: Up to $2,100/week (based on experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in High Point, NC. If you are a critical thinker with a strong clinical background and a passion for patient-centered care, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive healthcare team in a thriving city.

Job Description:

  • Monitor and manage acutely ill patients requiring intermediate care between ICU and Med/Surg

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to patient changes promptly

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families

  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)

  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of PCU or step-down unit experience required

  • Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
