Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN – PCU) - Charlotte, NC

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative care team at one of the region's top facilities while enjoying all that the Queen City has to offer.

Assignment Overview:

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks

  • Shifts Available: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Schedule Cycle: Every 6 weeks

  • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

  • Holiday Expectation: Work 75% of holidays

  • Call Requirement: None

  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,250/week (based on experience)

Job Description:

  • Deliver high-level care to patients in a step-down/PCU setting requiring close cardiac and respiratory monitoring

  • Assess and document patient condition, implement care plans, and adjust treatment as needed

  • Administer IV medications and manage telemetry monitoring equipment

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care

  • Support patients and families through education and communication regarding care plans and conditions

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

  • Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Tele or PCU RN experience required

  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills

  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required
