Travel/Contract Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN) – Concord, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,250 (Based on Experience)

Job Description – PCU RN Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care to patients with acute conditions who require close monitoring but not full ICU support

Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions quickly and effectively

Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist in diagnostic procedures
-
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans
-
Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
-
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and follow hospital safety protocols
Contract Details

Length: 13 Weeks

Compensation: Up to $2,250/week (based on experience)

Shift Times: 0645–1915 or 1845–0715

Schedule:
-
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
-
No call required
-
Holiday expectation: Traveler will work 75% of holidays

Schedule cycle: Every 6 weeks
Licensure & Certifications Required

Active RN License – North Carolina or Compact State

BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)

ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
Education Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Minimum of 1 year of recent Progressive Care or Telemetry experience preferred
