Travel/Contract Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse – High Point, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,250 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a motivated and experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in High Point, NC. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team at a respected medical center while experiencing everything this vibrant city has to offer.

Job Description – PCU RN Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level nursing care to acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments

  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to patient condition changes, and provide timely interventions

  • Administer medications and assist in complex procedures and therapies

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policy standards

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, and discharge procedures

Licensure & Certifications Required

  • Active RN License – North Carolina or Compact State

  • BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)

  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

  • NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale

Education Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Progressive Care or Step-down Unit experience preferred
