Travel/Contract Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Nights - Brattleboro, VT
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,850/Week Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a top-tier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week local travel contract in Brattleboro, Vermont. Position Details:

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,850 based on experience

• Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours guaranteed)

• Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to units where experienced

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intermediate monitoring and interventions

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and adjust care based on patient response

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all hospital policies

• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately in urgent situations

• Float to other units as needed based on clinical expertise

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Vermont or compact state eligibility

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, Step-down, or Telemetry experience

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Flexibility and adaptability to float to other units as needed
