Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Certifications Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Other Requirements: Valid RN license for North Carolina, current references from supervisors, excellent communication skills, ability to work flexible hours and adapt to different shift schedules

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, monitoring maternal and fetal health closely throughout labor and delivery processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Execute emergency protocols effectively during obstetric emergencies, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
