Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid registered nursing degree from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements: Current BLS and ACLS certifications; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience in a hospital setting
  • Other Requirements: Must possess a valid Nursys/State License, clear background check, and immunization records; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and expert labor and delivery nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safety and comfort during childbirth.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for obstetric patients.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies.
  • Execute emergency procedures and respond swiftly to obstetric complications, ensuring patient and neonatal safety.
  • Support and educate patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process, providing emotional support and guidance.
