Travel/Contract - Radiology Technician - Days - Lawrenceville, GA
Compensation: Up to $2,220 Weekly
Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm Mon-Fri

Job Overview

As a Travel Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with a skilled healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging exams following physician orders

  • Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety

  • Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results

  • Monitor and maintain radiologic equipment for proper functionality

  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow all compliance guidelines

  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses

  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • Active ARRT (R) certification required

  • Active Georgia state Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)

  • BLS (AHA) certification required

  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety regulations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
