Local Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Critical Care - Lawrenceville, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,850/Week (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Night Shift

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is currently hiring an experienced Cardiovascular Critical Care Nurse (CVICU RN) for a local travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity unit providing specialized care for cardiovascular patients at one of the area's leading medical facilities.

Job Description:

  • Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions

  • Monitor patients post-CABG, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, and other cardiac surgical procedures

  • Administer and titrate vasoactive and cardiac medications

  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to emergent situations

  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans

  • Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families

  • Document all care activities using Cerner electronic medical record system

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or Cardiovascular Critical Care experience

  • Active RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact state)

  • BLS and ACLS – Required (AHA certifications)

  • Preferred: CCRN certification, NIH Stroke Scale

  • Experience with Cerner EMR – Preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
