Local Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Critical Care  - Nights - Lawrenceville, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,460 (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Variable Shifts

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Local Travel CVICU Registered Nurse to join one of our premier healthcare clients in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is a highly specialized contract position ideal for RNs who are passionate about cardiovascular critical care and looking for a high-impact opportunity close to home.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-operative cardiac surgery patients

  • Monitor, assess, and manage advanced cardiac devices such as balloon pumps, ventricular assist devices, and continuous cardiac monitoring

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient-specific care plans

  • Administer medications, manage drips, and maintain ventilator and hemodynamic support

  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately in the EMR system (Cerner)

  • Maintain patient safety while delivering compassionate, high-quality care

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Georgia or compact state

  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular ICU or similar critical care setting

  • Preferred: CCRN and NIH Stroke certification

  • EMR experience with Cerner strongly preferred

  • Strong communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills
