Local Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,152 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week local travel contract with a respected hospital system in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a high-impact opportunity for a skilled nurse looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced emergency setting while staying close to home and earning competitive pay.
Job Description:

Deliver high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department

Perform triage, assessments, and treatments under pressure
-
Administer medications, monitor vitals, and respond to life-threatening situations
-
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
-
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using EMR systems
-
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
-
Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical situations
-
Participate in code response teams and trauma activations
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Active RN license in Georgia or compact state license
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
-
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting required
Key Skills & Qualifications:

Strong clinical judgment and ability to make quick decisions under pressure

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work effectively in high-stress, high-volume environments

Familiarity with emergency department protocols and trauma care
