Local Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department  - Nights - Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,152 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is currently hiring a Local Travel ER Registered Nurse for a reputable healthcare partner in Atlanta, Georgia. This 13-week contract offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency setting while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of a local travel assignment.

Position Overview:
This role is ideal for a skilled and confident Emergency Department RN who thrives in high-acuity environments and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Candidates must be experienced, highly adaptable, and comfortable using Cerner EMR systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate and effective nursing care to patients in critical and emergency situations

  • Perform triage, prioritize patient care, and manage multiple cases efficiently

  • Administer medications, start IVs, and manage emergency interventions

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, EMTs, and fellow nurses

  • Document patient information accurately in Cerner EMR system

  • Deliver patient education and communicate with families during high-stress situations

  • Maintain compliance with hospital procedures, policies, and emergency protocols

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience

  • Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system preferred
