Travel Registered Nurse – Infusion

Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Connected Health Care is a premier staffing agency dedicated to matching skilled healthcare professionals with top facilities across the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Infusion RN for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous treatments in an outpatient infusion center
  • Manage central lines, implanted ports, and peripheral IV placements
  • Provide blood product administration as needed
  • Ensure safe handling and administration of hazardous drugs
  • Operate specialized infusion equipment, including Plum IV Pump and CADD Pump
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-infusion care

Certification & Licensing Requirements

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
  • Chemotherapy Certification – Required
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Certification – Preferred
  • Active RN License in Georgia – Required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of infusion nursing experience
  • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

  • 65-chair outpatient infusion center treating a diverse patient population
