Local Travel Registered Nurse – ICU (Intensive Care Unit) - Lawrenceville, GA
Contract Length: 12Â Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Varies
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,460 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a local travel contract at a premier healthcare facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This 13-week assignment is perfect for a clinically skilled RN looking to deliver high-acuity care while staying close to home.
Position Overview:
The ICU RN will care for critically ill patients requiring constant monitoring, advanced therapies, and intensive interventions. This role demands strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and teamwork to provide exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and specialized nursing care to critically ill adult patients

Monitor and manage life-support equipment, including ventilators and infusion devices

Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and implement emergency interventions

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate complex care plans

Perform detailed assessments and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR

Provide education and emotional support to patients and families in critical care situations
Education and Certification Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia – Required

Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience – Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required

NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) – Required
