Local Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery - Nights - Cumming, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Night Shift
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,190 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week local travel assignment with one of our top healthcare partners in Cumming, Georgia. Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. As part of a skilled maternity team, the L&D RN will ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns, while managing labor complications and collaborating with obstetric providers.
Job Responsibilities:

Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and contractions using electronic fetal monitoring

Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocin, per physician orders
-
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and respond to obstetric emergencies
-
Provide patient education and emotional support during labor and delivery
-
Manage postpartum care and newborn transition

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
-
Collaborate closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other L&D staff
Education and Certification Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia – Required

Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience – Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required
-
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
-
Fetal Heart Monitoring certification – Required
-
AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) – Required

Experience using Cerner EMR – Preferred
