Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid nursing degree from an accredited institution
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS (if required), State Nursing License
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work 3-12 shift schedule, good communication skills, ability to adapt to different EMR systems, reliable transportation or housing arrangements, strong patient care skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and conditions, responding promptly to changes while documenting findings accurately in the EMR system.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and facility policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and education efforts.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, adhering to infection control standards and facility guidelines.
