Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (GI Unit)

Location: Cumming, GA
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Connected Health Care is a premier travel healthcare staffing agency, dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with top healthcare facilities across the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical RN to join the Acute GI Med Unit in Cumming, GA.

Position Overview

  • Provide high-quality medical/surgical care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Work in a 34-bed acute care unit with private rooms and telemetry capability
  • Care for GI and COVID patients, ensuring proper treatment and recovery plans
  • Monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams

Requirements

  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Required Certification: AHA BLS
  • Preferred Certification: ACLS
  • Charting System: Cerner experience preferred

  • Strong background in medical/surgical patient care
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
