Job Description

Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Extended Recovery Unit)

Location: Canton, GA
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Rotating Schedule (Monday - Sunday)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Connected Health Care is a top-rated travel healthcare staffing agency dedicated to matching experienced professionals with leading healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently seeking a Medical/Surgical RN for the Extended Recovery Unit in Canton, GA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Extended Recovery Unit
  • Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgery, acute illness, or other medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Certification & Licensing Requirements

  • Required: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Required: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
