Local Travel Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) | Canton, GA

Connected Health Care is seeking a Local Travel Registered Nurse – NICU to join a highly skilled neonatal team in Canton, GA. This 13-week contract is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Neonatal ICU nurse looking for a rewarding role in a Level III Special Care Nursery.

Job Details

  • Position: Local Travel NICU RN
  • Location: Canton, GA
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Variable Shifts
  • Start Date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to neonates with medical and/or surgical conditions in a Level III NICU.
  • Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, ensuring optimal growth and development.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and specialized neonatal therapies.
  • Utilize advanced equipment, including ReCam- Ophthalmic Imaging System, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate and support families throughout their NICU journey.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Georgia RN License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience – Required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
  • Experience in Level III or higher NICU – Preferred
