Local Travel Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) | Canton, GA
Connected Health Care is seeking a Local Travel Registered Nurse – NICU to join a highly skilled neonatal team in Canton, GA. This 13-week contract is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Neonatal ICU nurse looking for a rewarding role in a Level III Special Care Nursery.
Job Details
- Position:Â Local Travel NICU RN
- Location:Â Canton, GA
- Contract Length:Â 13 weeks
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Variable Shifts
- Start Date:Â ASAP
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to neonates with medical and/or surgical conditions in a Level III NICU.
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, ensuring optimal growth and development.
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized neonatal therapies.
- Utilize advanced equipment, including ReCam- Ophthalmic Imaging System, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate and support families throughout their NICU journey.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active Georgia RN License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience – Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
- Experience in Level III or higher NICU – Preferred
