Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PMÂ
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,160 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a compassionate and experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week local travel assignment at one of our respected healthcare partners in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a high-impact opportunity to care for the most vulnerable patients—newborns in critical condition—while earning competitive pay close to home.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated NICU RN to join a dynamic neonatal intensive care team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working night shifts, proficient with Cerner EMR, and experienced in managing high-acuity neonatal patients.
Job Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns in the NICU
-
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and adjust ventilators and incubators as necessary
-
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
-
Educate and support parents and families during neonatal intensive care stays
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner

Follow established clinical protocols and ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards
Education and Certification Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia

Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required
-
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification – Required

Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU RN experience in a Level III or IV NICU preferred

Experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
