Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Valid nursing license appropriate for the state of Georgia
- Certifications Requirements: BLS certification, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred but not required
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing, infusion therapy experience
- Other Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, strong communication skills, emotional resilience, proficiency with EMR systems, able to adhere to facility policies

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, including administering chemotherapy and infusion therapies
- Monitor patient responses to treatments, document findings accurately in the EMR system, and escalate concerns to medical staff as needed
- Educate patients and their families regarding medication procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care instructions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements related to oncology care
