Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Connected Health Care is a leading staffing agency dedicated to placing highly qualified healthcare professionals in top facilities across the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) RN for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in a single-specialty urology outpatient surgery center
  • Assist in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op (Phase I PACU) patient care
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Follow strict aseptic and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately using Cerner

Certification & Licensing Requirements

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
  • Active RN License in Georgia – Required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of perioperative nursing experience
  • Experience in a surgical setting specializing in urology preferred
  • Proficiency in Cerner charting system

Unit Overview

  • Single-specialty urology outpatient surgery center
  • 3 Pre-op bays, 3 PACU bays, 2 Operating Rooms
  • Phase I PACU only
  • No on-call shifts, weekends, or holidays
