Local Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room | Lawrenceville, GA

Connected Health Care is seeking a Local Travel CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Lawrenceville, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced OR nurses looking to expand their careers while working in a highly specialized cardiovascular unit.

Job Details

  • Position: Local Travel RN – Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Location: Lawrenceville, GA
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Varies (Monday - Friday)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR).
  • Assist surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.
  • Maintain sterile technique and uphold strict infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia teams, surgeons, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prepare, operate, and monitor specialized CVOR equipment.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Georgia RN License (or compact state eligibility)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular OR – Required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Preferred
