Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN license.
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); appropriate state license and current certifications.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience in a hospital or surgical center.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to float and adapt to different OR environments; excellent communication and teamwork skills; physical ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively in the Operating Room.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub nurses, to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
  • Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols during all procedures.
  • Assess patient conditions, respond to intraoperative changes, and document all relevant information accurately.
  • Execute emergency protocols swiftly and effectively in case of intraoperative complications.
