Local Travel Registered Nurse – PACU - Nights - Lawrenceville, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 PM – 9:30 AM (Night Shift)
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,205 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week local travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse seeking rewarding overnight shifts and a chance to provide high-quality postoperative care in a respected facility.
Position Overview:
The PACU RN will be responsible for the recovery and ongoing assessment of surgical patients as they transition from anesthesia to full consciousness. This position requires advanced clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a calm, reassuring presence.
Job Responsibilities:

Monitor post-anesthesia patients for changes in vital signs, consciousness, and pain levels

Administer medications and provide airway management as needed
-
Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to coordinate postoperative care
-
Educate patients and families about recovery instructions and discharge planning
-
Respond quickly to post-op complications and emergencies

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Provide a safe and supportive environment for post-surgical recovery
Education and Certification Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia – Required
-
Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU or critical care nursing experience – Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required
-
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Preferred
