Job Description

Travel Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Connected Health Care is a leading staffing agency committed to matching top healthcare professionals with premier facilities nationwide. We are seeking an experienced PACU RN for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery or procedures
  • Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and overall patient stability
  • Administer medications and post-op treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions

Certification & Licensing Requirements

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
  • NIH Stroke Certification – Required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of PACU experience
  • Acute care or Phase II PACU experience preferred

Additional Job Details

  • No weekend or holiday shifts
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
