Job Description

Local Travel Registered Nurse – Recovery - Canton, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,100 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recovery RN for a 13-week local travel assignment in Canton, Georgia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare team while experiencing the charm and natural beauty of northern Georgia.

Job Description

  • Provide post-anesthesia and post-procedure care to patients in the Recovery Room (PACU)

  • Monitor patients for complications and manage pain, airway, and hemodynamic stability

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians

  • Communicate effectively with surgical teams, physicians, and patient families

  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record

  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols

  • Deliver compassionate and responsive care in a high-acuity environment

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

  • Current Georgia RN license in good standing

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association

  • Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or Recovery Room experience strongly preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including recovery or PACU care

  • Previous travel or contract experience preferred

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and patient monitoring equipment
